I wanted to reply to your comments on how to act around actors and I must confess, I never considered myself a 'fangirl'. It might be because I understood the other side of the book - I have been creating stories for as long as I can remember, and although it took me a bit to realise I wanted to be a writer full-time, I think the seed of being a writer was already planted and taking root. The best thing to remember is that authors are just like you & I. They are down to earth, humble, and they love to talk to you about your everyday life!

I do appreciate all the lovely opportunities I am finding to interact with them, whether I am online or IRL. I am limited on events in my local area, but whenever I find one I can attend, I jump at the chance that is for sure! :) I am simply thankful that you wrote this post in case it will help other girls who might not realise that sometimes the 'hyper-active response' is not always the best way to go for a first impression! I applaud you for being honest & for sharing your own story! After all, we all have a story to tell!

Enjoy the authors you get to visit with next!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-645963001834749240.post-66058284499095361472014-05-27T18:10:28.949-07:002014-05-27T18:10:28.949-07:00If I have an opportunity to go to an author signin...If I have an opportunity to go to an author signing, I'd go.Marcey @ Readicalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11513122312075695468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-645963001834749240.post-60846449374169110822014-05-27T18:09:55.969-07:002014-05-27T18:09:55.969-07:00Yeah, I tried reading the audio for Game of Throne...Yeah, I tried reading the audio for Game of Thrones but the narrator was NOT what I was hoping. In person is usually at an event and time is limited, but online the conversation can take place over days and weeks.

Girl Who Reads Girl Who Readshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12567066995224650190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-645963001834749240.post-1447035274884721162014-05-27T17:47:35.040-07:002014-05-27T17:47:35.040-07:00Yep being a grownup does suck sometimes.
