Grave Mercy
by Robin LaFevers
Summary:
Seventeen-year-old Ismae escapes from the brutality of an arranged marriage into the sanctuary of the convent of St. Mortain, where the sisters still serve the gods of old. Here she learns that the god of Death Himself has blessed her with dangerous gifts—and a violent destiny. If she chooses to stay at the convent, she will be trained as an assassin and serve as a handmaiden to Death. To claim her new life, she must destroy the lives of others.
Ismae’s most important assignment takes her straight into the high court of Brittany—where she finds herself woefully under prepared—not only for the deadly games of intrigue and treason, but for the impossible choices she must make. For how can she deliver Death’s vengeance upon a target who, against her will, has stolen her heart?

I've been following this book since the beginning of this year. I always wanted to add it to my cart, but my mind wasn't set to it. I've seen bloggers have ARC's of the 3rd novel in the series. The covers of the next novels looks like the girl can kick some butt. The synopsis sounds even better than the covers. I LOVE YA Fantasy/ Historical Fiction. All these specific elements interest me. All of this changed a few days ago. I ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT. I bought it on Amazon from another seller. I got it for about $9! Such a great deal! I'm going to be reading it with my best friend and I just KNOW I'm going to love it. I'm going to read it in July, so look out my review! All these different aspects of the book make me SO anticipated for it. I'll definitely post a picture of it on Twitter, when I receive it. Keep your eyes peeled!
What's on your book wishlist this week? Let me know in the comments—
The synopsis sounds good! I'm also a fan of historical fiction and fantasy, so I might put this as well on my wishlist. Lucky you, you already have a copy. I'll wait for your review! :)
